This is the perfect size barbeque for families. It is interesting that the only one place in all the packing materials does it say the product is imported by a company in Toronto. No where in the French/English instructions and safety manual does it say where this barbeque was made.

Q: What is the best way to clean the grill plates if you did not get the porcelain ones?

  • A: Thank you for reaching out. All Master Chef Discover 420 grills come with Black Porcelain Coated Steel cooking grates, so there isn't an alternative material option — but here's how to keep them in great shape: 1. Handle with care. Porcelain coating is brittle, so avoid banging the grates, scraping them with metal utensils, or bending them. 2. Remove the grates and scrub off grease and food residue with a damp cloth, warm water, and dish soap. For stubborn, baked-on residue, lay a warm, wet towel over the grate for about 30 minutes before scrubbing. 3. For deeper cleaning, use a non-abrasive plastic scrubber with soapy water. Abrasive cleaners will scuff the porcelain and damage its non-stick surface. 4. Rinse with clean water, dry thoroughly, and return the grates to the grill. 5. Before your next cookout, coat the grates with vegetable oil or shortening (avoid olive oil, which burns off at high heat) for added protection and non-stick performance. Q: Can this BBQ be converted to natural gas?

  • A: The Master Chef Discover 4 Burner Gas Grill is not convertible to natural gas. Its CSA certified Liquid Propane ready only. There is a difference between a propane only valve assembly, and a convertible valve assembly. Any attempt to convert your grill to an alternate fuel type would void your warranty. Only barbecues that bear the Convertible Valve System icon are convertible to Natural Gas. Hope this helps!
