Not good quality

We wanted a griddle with the ribbing to use for cooking steaks on our camping stove. Tried it out at home on the stove and when it came to cleaning it the coating scraped off in a few spots -- using a plastic scraper (that we use on our cast iron).

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Can it be used in the oven of an electric stove?

A: The cast griddle can be used anywhere, but it has drain holes so it would be recommended to use on top of a baking sheet or with items that aren’t going to create a lot of drippings.
