These mitts cause burns

I bought these about a month ago and have already burned myself twice, while wearing them. They're simply too thin and non-insulative. The first burn was because I was holding a hot pot and couldn't put it down soon enough; the second was because a small splash of water hit the mitt, and then it burned me where the wet part made contact with the pan handle. THey're truly horrible mitts that fool you into imagining you're safe when you're not!

No, I do not recommend this product.

So far so good. The wife was happy with the colour, and we both like the sizing, big enough for my hands, yet still good fit and control for her smaller hands, not too bulky.
