A: Absolutely. Bought it for my son and daughter-in-law when they bought an induction range. Very nice kettle - of course with induction it boils really fast. Handle stays cool which is a great feature.

Q: Where is this actually made? I know Pederno was always made in Canada but nowadays it is sent out of country. Is this kettle actually manufactured in Canada?

Q: Is the red kettle the same shade red as the red PADERNO pots?

A: The colour is not exactly the same, but it is close in tone / close match to the Paderno Cookware. It would be difficult to match the exact same as the type of paint and finish used on the kettle exterior is different than the cookware Non-Stick coating. However, they are made to resemble a family of products.

Afraid and returned

I was happy to purchase a Paderno kettle from Canadian Tire. I Expected great service from this brand. I quickly identified two major and dangerous problems. First, I was careful to never fill it beyond the max fill line however when it came to a boil rather than whistling the water “spewed” out the spout. This is extremely dangerous as the boiling water would shoot out the spout at least two feet. The second issue was when trying to pour the water the handle would flop sideways. This was even more dangerous as the hot kettle would come against my hand when it flopped sideways. I returned the kettle to Canadian tire. They were very understanding and refunded me without an issue. I have read the reviews and I am very surprised that nobody else seems to have encountered these issues.

No, I do not recommend this product.
