It locked once and when I opened it, it would not lock again. Metal is flimsy. I do not recommend

Does the job

It's fairly easy to set the code. However, the locking hook feels a bit loose so I can't always tell whether it's locked or in position, even when it is. Despite that, it worked during my recent trip.

Q: How do you st the combination on the lock. I know the code but not how to change it

A: If the lock is new and has not yet been set with a combination, the default combination is 0-0-0. Follow steps 1-4 on the instruction sheet to set a new combination. If the lock has been already set with a different combination, to reset, turn the dials to the current combination (rather than 0-0-0 as indicated in step 1 of the instructions) and then follow steps 2-4.

A: If you forget the combination, you can not open the lock – SKU# 76-1925 - Maple Leaf 3-dial Combination Lock. It is against the security; otherwise everyone else would be able to open it. The best advice is to write down your combination and keep it some place safe.
