I bought a new bullet last year on sale as my current one (15 years old) felt like it was going to die - another year and my original Magic Bullet finally died. (RIP)
I unboxed the new one and have made two smoothies - TWO! And the motor died.
Quality of the new bullet is garbage compared to the older one - you can feel it in the weight of the blender itself. Obviously a lower powered motor which is obvious since it only includes a small cross-blade, not the large one like the original.
Now I have to replace a brand new blender - what a waste of money.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Bought for my partner ( Christmas gift) it’s now only February and it smell like it’s burning every time we use it. Made a protein shake tonight and it just stopped working! Never again!

A: Thank you for your review post. Our U.S./Canadian spec unit has a very effective 120 Volt / 60 Hz / 250 Watt motor. Use of adapters and/or converters in countries other than USA and Canada may result in damage to the power base and is considered an unauthorized modification under the warranty".

Q: Can this magic bullet single shot grind some green leafy vegetables such as kale, spinach etc?

A: I know that Kale in particular can't be processed by the Bullet. I've tried adding it to my shakes, and it comes out like a fine mince mixed in with the shake (pretty gross). Spinach is less fibrous, so it might be ok. I've had terrible results with anything that's fibrous or not nearly a liquid to begin with.
