Always have bought Magellan ...l have checked out all the other brands & found that the Magellan the Best & most reliable for me..l just bought the newest one out... it just takes me a little bit to figure out how to set it all.

Its been 2 months since I bought this unit, it replaces a Garmin 7" and it is such an upgrade. Great maps, quick to make changes on the fly and the feature I love most, that chime when you are nearing the next turn you need to make. Amazing that feature is not offered by all the big GPS makers, they really miss the target on that simple feature that helps to keep my eyes on the road. Thank You! Magellan for keeping this feature, its a game changer for me.

Device good Phantom red light needs help

The device works fine but the phantom red light is not dependable. It will warn of a camera that does not exist and will warn of a camera after you clear an intersection. I have the 9616 and hope Phantom Premium will be available soon.

I bought it about 1 year ago. we have been to Florida from Canada twice. it is not ease to up grade map. the seven inch screen is marvellous. it has USA impearl and Canada census measurements in speed, elevation and n,e,s,w, warns you to turn on head lights. Give 3d view some times.
