    Fait le travail, mais sans plus. Lent à acquérir le signal et volume pas assez fort avec les bruits ambiants. Il faut presque s'arrêter pour voir ou on doit aller. Trouve tous les emplacements malgré tout donc, supérieur aux vieilles cartes routières.

    On the good side the map sizing can be set to what suits you (allows for viewing distance & older eyes).On the bad, display features (time,speed,etc) are set by the whim of the machine.

    I bought this unit mainly based on price. I have used it for work when traveling to unfamiliar cities and it usually works OK. Screen touch pad keys often have a long delay making entering letters or numbers a bit frustrating. The low rating is mostly due to the out of date maps Magellan has for the Vancouver area. We're not talking about small side streets - the South Fraser Perimeter road was opened nearly a year ago and the map is still not updated. Entering addresses or Points of Interest is easy, but still doesn't always take you to the right place. I would purchase a Garmin next time - their maps seem to be more up to date.

    • A: Thank you for your question. Please follow these steps to change your volume settings. Changing the Volume from the Map Screen: 1.Tap the speaker icon . Additional controls appear. 2.Tap the speaker button to mute the volume, or tap the ‘+’ or ‘-’ buttons to raise or lower the volume. 3. Tap to save and exit. Changing the Volume from Settings: 1. Access the Main Menu. 2. Tap the Settings icon. 3. Tap Sound. 4. Tap inside the Master volume adjust bar to change the volume level of the Magellan RoadMate receiver. 5.Tap to save and exit.     Q: Is this GPS going to work in Europe ? Is the lifetime warranty for maps available for Europe too ? If the warranty for life is not included then how can you upload the Europe maps ? Thanks
