Worked well for a couple of years then pump quit

We bought this washer after years of having electric ones. It worked well for a couple of years then the pump stopped. Very upsetting because it was expensive. This was not used often at all.char

No, I do not recommend this product.

Works well

Purchased this unit today on sale. So far, I have cleaned 1/2 of a large deck without stopping (about 2-3 hours). The pressure washer showed no signs of slowing down. Pressure remained high throughout the job and the deck looks brand new!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Good Power Washer

Easy to put together. Well built. Starts very easily. Good fittings for the hose attachment, not plastic like some. Soap tanks do leak and need to be sealed as the clamps do not seal the hose. Excellent value was on sale for $297. Would recommend for light to medium duty jobs

Yes, I recommend this product.

Nice Unit

I have just received it so it is still new. The unit was easy to assemble though I have altered it a little by taking the spray jets of the wand and tyraped it to the vertical post of the unit handle.Jets were mounted with 2 under-sized screws anyway. The liquid tanks both leaked empty overnight due to the poorly designed barbed nipples that the fluid lines connect to. Removed the lines and just added a small amount of liquid teflon on both barbs then re-attached the tubes, so far it worked well. Choke lever is not the best but once you get the feel of the machine its starts well. I like the throttle so you can manually control the rpm's for pressure and it has good pressure. Motor looks like my Honda motor with ,just a few changes. The pump does need water pressure to work and does not siphon the water. I'm very pleased with it so far and would recommend it !

Yes, I recommend this product.

  • Add small amount of sealant(liquid teflon) on barb fitting under spring clamps to stop leaks.
  • Remove jets from wand and installed on vertical part of unit handle.

Q: Any way of finding the motor manufacturer Just finished assembling. Quite pleased so far. Used the two previous answers, both helped. Realize if the motor was Honda or Briggs & Stratton the box would have said. Value for dollar, will be satisfied with anything.

  • A: This pressure washer is the exact same as a simoniz but with Mack written all over it. It looks exactly the same and the motor/pump is made by the same company.

Q: Mack 3000 PSI Gas Pressure Washer I bought MACK 3000 PSI Gas Pressure Washer , on page 10 ( artical # 9 ) they said screw the hex bolt down by wrench then screw pump breather on by hand .There is no way to screw hex bolt down ,so what can i do ? what pump breather for ? Thanks

  • A: Sorry, I don't know exactly what the breather does for the pump, but I think you should install it. The instructions were poorly translated. It should say to remove the hex bolt (shown in the picture). The breather tube (black plastic) then threads in where you just removed the bolt/plug. Look for a single sheet of paper with instructions. It has drawings rather than pictures, which are easier to view.

Q: Feature on Mack 3000 pressure washer Does this pressure washer have a pressure regulator on it?

  • A: I believe the user is able to adjust the pressure using a screw. Unfortunately - there is no pressure gauge, so you are not able to read or measure the pressure. I would not recommend adjusting the pressure unless you can connect an in-line pressure gauge. I would have to assume the pressure is set correctly from the factory.
