Awesome unit. Takes a lot of anxiety out of exploring new places because to can see shallow spots and rocks marked out on the map. And you know you can follow your trail on the gps to find your way back. The sonar seems to be very accurate as well. I'm also impressed that you can see the screen perfectly in any level of sunlight.

Outstanding product for my needs!

I was looking for a GPS for my small boat that wasn't too big but big enough to see clearly. The Lowrance Hook2 5 was the perfect size. The beautiful 5" screen plus Navionics+ charts make it a real winner.

Beware Not As Easy As Advertized

Purchased a Hook2 -5 a few months ago and it is not as easy to use as they say it is. It doesn't bring an operator manual, one has to download or print it, 92 pages.
