Great Product for your money

I love this unit, It takes a little getting use to but playing with it seems to be the easiest and fastest way to learn it. My only wish is that it was more compatible with other Lowrance's product. I would love to try Lowrance's spotlight sonar on it and would love to see more of Gen's features include into it like overlaying my charts with my down scan. But for the price it really is a great buy.

I've owned many locators, GPS. For the money you get a great product. The only complaint I have is the Owners manual leaves a lot to be desired. At least there is your support staff to help clear up things.

I have had trouble with it freezing up and shutting down unexpectedly. The store where I bought it replaced it with a brand spankin new one right out of the box, no questions asked. The store even helped verify the installation and double checked all the wiring in my brand new boat. Unfortunately, I am still having the same issues with it freezing up and shutting down unexpectedly. So I am not very satisfied with this product so far.

occasionally goes black ,have to reboot....pain in butt
slow on location updates when trolling ,tough to work a bar or break when not updating constantly. bad signal ?

I wanted to upgrade my Eagle GPS/Fishfinder unit to a bigger screen and ease of use as the Eagle and the Lowrance Elite-7 HDI was the unit I purchased
