Purchased just before Christmas. Easy to assemble with two people, and the instructions were very clear.
Works very well and is almost silent in operation. This bike is heavy and well made.

I use recumbent style resistance bikes for cardio and leg training. Yearly in my job I have to pass a physical endurance test and have been going to a gym to use a bike similar to this in order to keep my cardio up. When this bike was on sale over Xmas I decided to pick one up and try it out. It's very study in design, a welded steel frame holds it all together. Assembly wasn't too bad but it's nice to have a second person there to help remove it from the box.
Overall the resistance is excellent, it's smooth and dead silent, in fact the sound of my shorts moving slightly on my legs during use was louder than anything coming from the bike itself. Definitely recommended for beginner and advanced cardio people, bikes like these ensure I pass my fitness test yearly, highly recommended. Also as a plus I called the manufacturer from the 800 number on their website and was immediately greeted by an english person (no robots!) who gladly answered all my questions. This particular model was listed on the website as for 250lbs but in the manual itself, and as from the manufacturers representative herself, it's actually rated to 300 lbs.

Q: The regular price listed here is $1199.99. Prices at Canadian Tires stores in Ontarion and BC are $599.00 regular but same sale price. Why?

A: Hi. I noticed Cdn Tire had a different Livestrong recumbent bike in their catalogue that was only $799 regular price. Until it was replaced with current model. Not sure how much difference there is.

Q: Is this recumbent bike coming on sale anytime soon? It was on sale a few months ago but I missed the sale by one day. I would really like to purchase this one instead of one of the others, but I can't afford $1200.

Q: Advert says bike comes with Special Canadian Tire Warranty however nothing special provided in store or in package. What is the warranty?

A: The warranty for this item is : 7 year replacement parts on the frame 90 days on parts and labour on components The manufacturer must be contacted if defective, at : 1-877-922-6234

Q: When does this sale end? I get a personal spending allowance at work and it is refreshed jan 1st. Will this still be on sale at this point or is there anyway for me to lock that in until then.
