DOES NOT STICK TO ALUMINUM

I used this to glue the commercial aluminum nosing on my stair project. It stuck great to the vinyl flooring and the concrete and steel stair risers. But it DID NOT STICK to the aluminum stair nose at all. A few days later it just popped right off with no sign of adhesion to the bare aluminum. It was applied to the nose stair then placed onto the stairs. Now I have to try and do the whole project over again with the Liquid Nails polyurethane stuck to the stair parts. "DONE ONCE DONE RIGHT" ........................Uh, no, I dont think so.
  • No adhesion to bare aluminum.
  • Stuck to the vinyl floor and steel stair riser but not the aluminum stair nose.

Works great!

This product works as advertised. Used it to attach laminate trim fittings to concrete floor. Be sure to follow the instructions and give it the time it needs to cure. Also, make sure to take the time to prep the area to make sure any inadvertent spills don't cause a mess. Maybe it's the cheapo glue gun I was using but I had to use some muscle to get the adhesive out. I consider myself a strong guy but this this thing beat me up. Looks good when finished so I'm happy.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Poor Product

I used this adhesive to mount a tool board on my basement wall. I positioned the tools the following day, and stood back to admire my handiwork. Just like in the movies, the whole thing crashed to the ground. I then used PL400. The board is still there 5 years later.

No, I do not recommend this product.
