The Thill Nite Brite float offers fishers a tangle-free glow in the dark option. Unlike many lighted night floats with entangling attachments, the Nite Brite is a simple centre-sliding design that shines brighter and lasts longer, making low-light fishing easier and more productive. But as a true slip float, the Nite Brite also functions well during the day. Simply unscrew the cap, insert the battery and screw the cap back on. Great if they work…

These little guys are great for night fishing. I’ve been purchasing them for 25 years and I think the product you are getting for the price point is fair however of the 30 I’ve purchased over an extended period of time 10 of them, the light/battery either never works or stops working almost immediately. They are a little finicky and sometimes need to be played with and that’s understandable but about 1 in 3 just don’t ever work. Also as of late the battery/lights are too wide for the seat inside the float so the top of the float can’t be screwed on correctly without putting excessive pressure on the light which obviously could lead to damage.

Junk. Don’t float and fill with water. The light didn’t work on one of them right out of the package. Don’t recommend them at all.
