This is a good idea but it isn't reliable. The lights come on at random times with no one in the room.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Mixed feelings...

I installed them both with mixed feelings: The first one I installed it in my garage and the given range is not near close to reality... the actual range of the sensor is lower than the one listed on the package/manual. The motion sensor turns on a CFL and an incandescent bulb light. The second one, although it is being used with a pair of rapid-start magnetic fluorescents, it behaves very weird. The lamp does make weird noises when in AUTO mode, not when used in ON mode. Is it my installation the problem? Who knows! Regarding the sensitivity of the sensor, the installation manual only mentions about being more sensitive in a lighter location and in a darker location. I have set them both to be more sensitive in a darker location. Also the dial to set the time ON has zero indications and the minimum is 15 seconds and the maximum 15 minutes... without a scale, how to tell if not by a stop watch?!?!?! Also the sensor seems to detect in a linear way and I do not know how much above and below it detects motion from the sensor line. Any ideas are more than welcome! Recommended? Hmm yes and no... again, my installation or location of the sensors might be the problem.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

I had difficulty installing it and continue to have trouble adjusting sensitivity, the light often flicker and don't go completely out, and I find that it is inconsistent in how well it functions.

No, I do not recommend this product.
