Removed Dryer Set Hand Balm Stains

I accidentally washed an expensive jacket with my hand balm. Found online amazing reviews for Lestoil at removing chap stick stains. At this point the jacket had been washed normally & put in the dryer with hand balm then washed again with dish soap and back in the dryer. Still faint stains. I soaked the jackets in Lestoil with spray bottle full strength, lathered with water and washed jackets twice, hot on double rinse. They came out perfect. I’m so grateful!

I have used this product for years and find it very useful. Although it is not indicated for this use, I find it most effective in pretreating oily stains on clothes prior to tossing them in the wash. It is also good for oily, greasy spots anywhere. I like the fresh clean scent.

A: I do know it gets rid of household oil and grease stains. Cover spot scrub material with hands. Let sit. Wash as usual. On very, very stubborn stains you may need to do a second time then use hot water.

A: I heard back from my consumer affairs team and unfortunately we do not test for smoke removal. As such we can’t comment on the product’s efficacy in removing smoke smell.
