All three of these lights are useful; while the little one uses three AAA cells both bigger ones use three AA cells. I compared the light output with various cells (Lithium 1.7V, Alkaline 1.55V and Eneloop 1.35V) and found them all the same => using rechargeable cells doesn't degrade the output!

Bought this set on sale. I am a mechanic and use these all the time. The magnetic base is great for attaching it to different surfaces and it is a nice light. 100% would buy this again at full price.
