Leatherman® SKELETOOL® Ultra-Light Combo Multi-Tool, 7 Tools, Stainless Steel

It's a knife, a screwdriver, and pliers - and it does all of those pretty well in light-duty instances. It might not be the perfect tool for you - but it was for me, I've used mine a lot. I like how each tool is accessed, they're all quick and easy; many other multitools would be better if the knife blade flipped out like this one does. The price on these has gone up considerably.

j' ai acheter il y a 5-6 ans environ cette outils a la lame un acier spécial très résistant ne se gate presque jamais ! Mais je l'ai brisé hier les pinces ont cassées! Est ce qu'il est encore garantie pour être échangé?

This is my 4th Leatherman. I’m on the hunt for the one that has it all and does it all but isn’t too big and is comfortable to handle. This is getting pretty close. I have had the Supertool for a few decades and it is great but the edges on the handles back then are a bit hard, which makes crimping a bit uncomfortable. The Surge is much better in that regard. And so is the Skeletool. I also prefer not to have to open the entire tool to get at the blade, like on the Supertool or using 2 hands, like on the Juice. I wouldn’t mind having scissors or a saw and a file, but then we get back into bigger tools or not a one handed blade design. So far I have had use for all the tools on the skeletool and have only really missed the scissors once. While I was at the office. Where we have lots of scissors. Mind you, the blade is super sharp, so in most cases it can do what I need scissors for. I foresee this being my everyday carry for quite a while, with the odd time where I will bring out the Juice for an evening or the Surge for going places where we won’t have access to other tools.

Not great at any one thing but good for several. Good brand, but would chose a different set up.
