Might as well use a knife

I bought this close to a year ago, and have since put several pounds of meat through it. If you're planning make anything more than a single hamburger patty, expect to completely disassemble it to tighten the screws (which requires a screwdriver and a wrench or ratchet), or it'll start to wobble like a white girl learning to walk in heels at her first frat party. When you add meat, it must be chopped into pieces no larger than 1" square, added and processed one at a time. When the suction breaks loose (and it will, unless you keep a hand on the top pressing it to the counter) you'll be picking up ground meat from an arc across the kitchen. The plastic grommet between the screw and the handle will be slowly beground down, leaving a fine powder in all of your product. All in all, save yourself the effort and agony of having this poorly engineered contraption, and spend a little more money on a product that actually had thought and effort put into it's engineering and design.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I bought this last month. After cleaning, On its first use it fell apart. We put it back together and tightened everything, rehashed it, then tried again. It loosened and loosened before once again falling apart. The plunger never fastens properly, so i needed to have my husband hold it down while I cranked away (pretty lean cuts for 10 lbs of ground beef) having to switch it up every so often. After two hours, we got the job done. If you have the time, muscles, and a muscular assistant then I suppose this could be practical should you find yourself without electricity... Do yourself a favour though and get an electric one, (or one of better quality).

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Good for light duty

Bought this for making wild game sausage meat. The trick is to keep spinning and ensure meat is small enough to get into the blades. Biggest complaint is the suction pad often (very often) lost it's seal. Also needed cleaning to clear connective tissue. This item would be great for processed meat and maybe pre- cooked meat. Not so much for bear and venison.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Good Ginder But Too Expensive

Grinder works well. Processed 10 pounds of meat without any issue and it was easy to turn the handle. I take the sinew and silverskin off of my meat, so it grinds very well without binding up. Suction cup works well and is a bonus. Small size is beneficial, as it doesn't take much room to store and is easy to clean. My biggest "beef" is with the price. I don't think it is worth the cost.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
