Perfect fit in in a limited space.

I needed a place to store(conceal) my spare bbq propane take on my balcony where space is limited and this 30 gal. deck box fits perfectly and has room for a few other items as well. Easy assembly and no tools required. I wasn’t aware they made deck boxes that smalll. I highly recommend this product.

Keter deck box is not very sturdy.

For the price, this box was not worth it and returned. When we tried to assemble it, the pieces were flimsy. When it is assembled, I am sure that someone would try to sit on it and I know it would collapse….the manufacturer warns not to sit on it. I would not recommend this product as I think it would not weather well.

Q: Are those 'open handles" on the front and sides? If so, it wouldn't be practical for my use because the squirrels and chipmunks would squeeze in. It is hard to tell by the picture if it is closed on the inside. Otherwise, it is perfect.

Q: Is this raccoon proof? And can it be used as a seat without risk of it breaking?

  • A: You can lock it, it would not be raccoon proof without the lock. Kids could user it as a seat, I would not sit on it as an adult it's sides are not sturdy enough.
