Saved my bike

Bought this lock last year. Yesterday my apartment bike cage was broken into, and someone obviously tried to steal my bike. This lock was cut up, the plastic broken off, and my bike turned on its side.. BUT. My bike was still there! Despite obviously having strong tools, they weren't able to cut through the metal. Buying another one to better secure my bike's wheels, but very happy with how this lock stood up!

ALWAYS use a u lock , this brand is very reputable. One complaint , if any is that the key gets to be tricky inserting 100%- I'm not sure if that's the locks issue from a design flaw or some thief trying to get into it . Either way it still works & does its job .

Il ne s'agit pas de la gamme supérieure des cadenas Kryptonite, toutefois, c'est une marque de confiance et je pensais m'assurer d'une bonne qualité. Or, attention, ce modèle est tout sauf pratique. La pièce de fixation sur le cadre du vélo est de très basse qualité et il est extrêmement difficile, voire impossible, de sortir le cadenas de la monture. Retour assuré car c'est si peu pratique de ne pas pouvoir fixer son cadenas au cadre du vélo.

Lock broke after two uses

Bought it today. U-lock became unlockable after two tests. Retrurning tomorrow. Kryptonite trade mark I have seen had a orange colour. This one is just gray. Not sure if this is the real Kryptonite brand!!
