It was great till we washed it in the sink. The handle filled with water and when I went it to flip food in the pan the water came out and the water caused a steam reaction which in turn nearly scaled me. Maybe fine in a dishwasher depending how it’s placed.

Bad product, not as expected

Since I bought all new pots and pans, those with non-stick surfaces, I wanted a turner that would work with scratching. The Kitchen Maid product "appeared" to be a silicon turner, that is high temperature rated, but the tip MELTED in a pan while using it. It is regular plastic and will not withstand temperatures of a frying pan. It is USELESS. I then purchased a proper silicon-rubber turner that you could cook in an oven without damaging it. The plastic turner might be good for serving out cakes or pie slices but definitely not in the heat.
