Too Heavy to be so wimpy

I was beyond excited when I’d saved enough to purchase this mixer, now I wish I’d saved more for a better machine.
I do a lot of playing in my kitchen, and this mixer is just a lot of hassle to smell like the motor can’t keep up almost every time I use it, from about the first year.
I now do most mixing by hand. Mostly disappointed in the machine.
Also: disappointed in the company for not making stainless steel blending/ mixing implements and attachments standard. Kitchen aid isn’t the gold standard.
Don’t waste your money on their products.
They are meant to be countertop decor only, not used.
I’ve had no service issue, because I quit using it.
No, I do not recommend this product.

My husband got this mixer for me for Mother's day several years ago. I love it, but the paddle and whisk have never reached the bottom even with adjusting it. I use it for everything though, just learned to adjust for making sure everything is mixed from the bottom.

Super mixer, lots of power

I bought my Kitchenaid 5 years ago and I couldn’t be happier with it. The Pro Heavy Duty is perfect for my sourdough bread and the cookies I bake. And we have the ice cream maker, the peeler set, and the pasta attachment. It is a pleasure to use!!

Still the perfect workhorse

I’ve had this mixer for over 6 years and it still works as great as it did the first day I used it. I now have the juicer, pasta maker, meat grinder as well as other attachments and they all work perfectly! Mine is black and I affectionately call it Darth Vadar.
