Disappointed after light use

I loved the size and look of these pots and pans when I needed to buy a new set for induction cooking. I trusted the KitchenAid name and the information on the box. I am very, very cautious and do not to use any sharp objects although the coating is described as durable. I am extremely disappointed that the coating is showing marks that look like little cuts in the surface although I never cut in the pan. I am also the only person who uses these pans so nobody else is damaging the surface. I am now shopping for a new set after only a couple of years using these pans. They are such a disappointment. I notice that Canadian Tire is no longer carrying this set and it might be because of other customer complaints. Unfortunately, I didn't save my Canadian Tire receipt or I'd be taking them right back to the store.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Decent... Mid range set.

Bought this set when it was on sale as I had a frying pan of the same type and liked it...and it was on sale. I usually like most items from kitchen aid but...
Plus: They look great there is no doubt! I love the feel, weight and handle design. I find heat distribution is decent and heats up fast(I have electric glass top stove. Like the glass top, and gel insert in the handles works well so you don't need to use a towel to lift the covers etc. Also great to be able to put them in the oven up to 400.
Minus: non-stick....while at first thought I assumed it would be great! And in a way it works but I find them I credibly hard to clean for some reason. Anytime I cook anything and go to clean it. It always find I think it's clean and stuff comes off nicely. I leave it to dry and the is a pile of scum left on it....EVERYTIME. I end up having to clean it again before I use it...I don't like washing dishes enough to do each one twice. (I don't put them in the dishwasher)
I think once I save up enough for a great quality copper core set these will be my extra set for large dinners.
Had the set for apx a year and a half. Worth the price when on a decent sale but not full price imo.

Great set for the price

Great 11 piece set with a gorgeous bronze/copper anodized finish, I personally like this colour much better than the kitchen aid red. The set is ABSOLUTELY DISHWASHER SAFE! It says so right on the bottom of the pans there is some confusion about it being 'dishwasher safe' the use and care manual should be updated its just a broad cover everything type of cookware manual. However the set should still be washed by hand as with any good set of knives or pots. Non stick works great with a little oil (don't try to fry an egg with no oil thats foolish) and they are oven safe with lids on up to 400 degrees which is great for roasting a chicken, steaming veg or fish on the stovetop and just keeping food warm in general, I work as a professional chef and would have no problems using these for a busy dinner service at my restaurant or home

A: It’s not completely grey. It has a bit of gold coloring to it, although it is not nearly as gold as it shows on the box. It’s more like the “Champagne” color that you can find on some cars. It looks quite nice in my opinion.

A: Unfortunately there is no matching Kitchenaid steamer insert that can be bought seperately from this KitchenAid Hard Anodized set. However, Canadian Tire does sell a universel steamer insert that can be purchased individually
