issues with plastic breaking

I bought one of these food processors a couple of years ago. Loved the machine- lightweight, easy to use, etc. BUT although I didn't use it often, the latch of the bowl cover broke. The store gave me a new machine Again didn't use it often but now the hinge for the bowl cover broke. I searched for a replacement but that would cost 182$!!!!. I might as well buy a new machine! but what is going to break next? Of course both of these issues came from the plastic part.

Work bowl is made of cheap material.

My previous kitchen aid food processor has much simpler assembly than this one and still working perfectly after many years. I just needed to replace a part which is no longer available so I bought this one in March 2025 and in such short time the work bowl is broken.
