Q: Can these be keyed alike if bought in pairs?

A: All lock chambers for this product are different therefore each one would need a different key in order to unlock. We do not provide a product that has the same lock chamber on multiple Hasps.

Q: can this be used for the outdoors?

A: They can be used outside, but would weather similar to any zinc coated product. The similar items in the gate hardware that are also chrome plated are items 046-1647 & 046-1654.
