Great Shed

Fairly easy to put together. Two of us put it together, took an afternoon. Make sure you have an even bottom. We built a wooden bottom to place it on. Also the shelves that come with it are a joke. Don't hold any weight. We bought another shelving unit at Canadian Tire to put in one corner. Lots of space. Also looks very good. All my neighbors are checking it out.

This shed fits our bikes & seasonal gear as well as 2 sets of tires. A little tricky to assemble but worth the effort.

I purchased this shed based on reviews here.I never saw it set up at the store.It was a hassle getting it on my truck from the Canadian Tire store. The first store dropped it and it flew open and parts went everywhere so I bought it at another store to be safe that nothing was broken. I had to open it when I got home because it is very heavy and unload it piece by piece from my truck. This shed is very poor quality. A cheap plastic .I was so disappointed in this shed. It wasn't hard to put up but the walls sag in because they are so thin and the roof is thin ,thin,thin.The imitation wood knots look phoney. I would have taken it back but it would be such a hassle so its up and I will hope for the best. To load it back on my truck and return it just didn't seem an option. Don't buy this shed. I don't work for Suncast but thier shed is much better quality.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: What is the actual external size of the floor base? If I purchase this shed, then I plan to construct an 8'x8' wooden base out of pressure treated plywood and lumber. Will this sized base be sufficient for the provided floor?

A: The exact external floor measurements are W97.6”xD100.4”. The Factor 8x8’ manual includes a recommendation to construct a wooden or concrete base to be used as a base, and states the shed’s external floor measurements, but does not include a reference to the measurements of the recommended base. For practical reasons it’s preferable if the base is a little bigger than the shed’s floor (it’s convenient if the entrance to the shed, for instance, is the same level as the shed’s door as it facilitates putting objects in and taking them out).

Q: What constructed base is recommended? Can you advise what constructed base would be best suited for this product (concrete pad?/other?). Will Canadian Tire recommend an installation contractor who will also construct an appropriate base?

A: The weight of the shed is 325 pounds, empty of course. We do not recommend installing any shed on a roof.

A: It is made primarily of Polypropylene (PP). Polypropylene is durable and very resistant to many chemical solvents, bases and acids. Unlike wood It will not rot, dent or peel. It is 100% recyclable and most of our products already contain a variable level of recycled material.
