I bought this to go kayaking and eventually fishing with my dog. The first trip out, my dog saw a duck and without warning jumped out to swim after it. The kayak didn't tip, not even close. The second trip out on the lake, my dog spotted another dog on shore, a speck of a dog because we were quite far away. Once overboard she changed her mind and tried to climb back in. Again, we did not tip, not even close. There were speedboats pulling water skiers and despite hitting the waves, no water came in, even though our combined weight was very close to the maximum of 300 pounds recommended by the manufacturer. She's not a small dog. I'd definitely recommend this kayak. It's not fast because it's not a sleek 16 footer but you'll get to where you want to go without the risk of losing your fishing gear.

I bought this small kayak for my wife and her outings in it so far I’ve been really good. She enjoys the manoeuvrability the ease with what she can get in and out on shore and the durability of the kayak. We particularly enjoyed the sale price which was $200 off.
