This is a really great personal water purification system, nice to see it stocked at Canadian Tire. The filter gets rid of most everything you'll ever need to get rid of when hiking and camping, and is small enough to stuff in a pocket for dayhiking and fishing. For countries where the tap water isn't safe you will still need to use a system that gets rid of virii, like Aquatabs, a fluorescent system or a Grayl bottle. And if you're purifying for 3-4 people you may want someone to lug a gravity system instead. The filter is the heart of it, and one tip would be that instead of this complete system, you can get a replacement filter and a different bottle. Hydrapak makes one that fits the BeFree but I think even the so-called smart bottles will do. I picked mine up on sale, hoping they're restocked because this is a much higher quality filter than Canadian Tire's other common brands.
