Product Details

The EDI 4 electric ice scraper finally puts an end to the strenuous task of scraping off the ice bit by bit. With its rotating disc and six sturdy plastic blades, the ice scraper removes even stubborn ice from car windscreens effortlessly in a single movement. If the EDI 4 is in standby mode, apply slight pressure from above to make the removal disc start rotating and the ice will come away as if by magic. Should the blades become worn, the removal disc can be replaced without any tools (disc is available as a replacement part). The modern and compact design of the ice scraper, along with the protective cover, make it easy to handle and store. One battery charge is sufficient for several applications. The integrated LED flashes when the device needs to be charged.

Q: In the pictures included with this product on the Canadian Tire website, there is one of a young man in a t-shirt in what appears to be a warm and sunny location using this on what appears to be a soapy windshield of a Mercedes. Why?

A: In regards to the image of the gentleman in his short sleeve shirt using the EDI 4, the image is actually of the EDI 4 being used with the Car Cleaning Kit. The image is of a person cleaning their window shield with cleaning pad and the detergent. We're working on launching the car cleaning kit used with the EDI4 next year.

A: The ice scraper blade is made of plastic like the material that manual ice scrapers are made from which allows the EDI 4 to clear the windshield without scratching it. You can find some additional customer reviews on Canadian Tire’s website as well as Karcher Canada website
