Fits the sun dolphin 12 ft jon boat

This cover fits the 12 ft sundolphin jon boat available at CT. However: does a better job if you mount seats, as they allow the water to run out, rather than collect and collapse the cover. Wrapping straps under the hull is a must, as otherwise the sides collapse, even with seats present.

Q: Think this would cover a 12 ' aluminium?

A: A Jon boat is typically wider that a standard 12ft aluminum boat. We would suggest a model “AA” for a standard aluminum boat but suggest the consumer measure the beam in inched to see what width will work best.

Q: How could you prevent water pooling on top of cover? As the one review indicates, water could easily pool on top of tarp, any creative ways to prevent this?

A: In some cases it is necessary to use the Classic pole kit in order to tent the cover which will create a sloped surface that allows water to run off the cover. This kit is sold by Canadian Tire in the boat cover section.
