      Useless

Have 2 of these Job Mate pushers from Canadian Tire at home. Both are useless, and broke within the first couple of uses. I am going to see if I can somehow drill and bolt the shovels permanently onto the handles, so that they are of some use. Meanwhile, I will invest in a good quality shovel, and never mind the cost.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Bought on sale for a couple bucks less then regular. Kinda like how it doesn't have a metal edge for scraping because it slides nicely and can form to the surface u r scraping. Worked good tho for clearing sidewalk and drive way.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

Works fine for moving very loosely packed snow. However, useless for moving large quantities of heavy snow. The plastic head broke away from the wooden handle under just moderate load.

No, I do not recommend this product.

      Questions

      1 - 2 of 2 Questions

Q: how do you remove the handle from the snow pusher scoop? we see them in 2 parts in the store but how do you remove the existing blade?

      1 Answer
      • A: Hello Curlerb, The shovel blade can be removed but it would most likely require you to replace the bracket that holds the blade onto the shaft (KD bracket). The blade and the bracket click together during assembly. When you try to replace the blade, you will most likely crack the bracket or break the teeth that hold the blade. If you do remove the blade, please contact Garant at information@garant.com for a KD bracket (If you break it). -Garant GP

Q: The D-grip handle broke on my mine, which makes it really uncomfortable to use. If I could get a replacement handle, I'll wrap it in duct tape to prevent it from happening again. Can you help me get a new handle?

      • A: Hello Sumguy, The only replacement D-grip Canadian tire sells is for summer tools but it could work on your winter shovel. Link: https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/garant-replacement-d-handle-grip-0595031p.html If not, please reach out to Garant to obtain a replacement D-grip. Email: information@garant.com -Garant GP
