I bought one Boombox 2 and liked it so much that I bought a second one online that has been refurbished. I’m thrilled with the sound when both Boomboxes are playing outdoors. Honestly, it practically sounds like live music.

Big and bulky im disappointed the sound is not loud. It seems the app allows for a better sound but still not worth the money!
The smaller boom box was better for 1/3 less. The power button will not go off????

Bumps Loud, Hard & Clear! We Love Our JBL Boombox!

My boyfriend & I have a JBL Boombox and we love it! It bumps loud! It's our favorite party favor when we have friends over hanging out with us. We've owned it for roughly two years, without ever any issues.... However, as of the past week or so, it's crackling when we turn it up. This began a little over a week ago, we didn't use it for a few days, then turned it on and up again, and it worked good as ever. But today it started to do that crackling thing again. I googled it and tried the few advice ideas google gave, but none of it helped.... Does anyone know why our JBL might be doing this??? Thanks! ~Amber & Shayne

Very nice speaker

I bought this speaker last Black Friday for a very good price! I love listening to this thing bang! I work in the excavation/ site work industry! The guys & I jam all day long! It was hit with an excavator bucket and cracked the one side of the speaker but it still works great! I would have payed full price if I knew the quality of sound that this speaker puts out! We recently had an earthquake in pa! The guys & I were sitting in the work truck and didn’t feel a anything because we had the boom box max volume! It Last us two 10 hour days on a full charge! Two other guys recently purchased the same speaker and we all paired them together on the jobsite playing 80s rock, it felt like a dream! Highly recommend!

A: Yes, you can sync two or more JBL Boomboxes via the Partyboost feature. Simply press the Partyboost button on your first Boombox 2 then press the Partyboost button on the nearby Boombox 2 to connect. As soon as this is done, the music will be played through both speakers.

Length of time used, level of battery charge and volume of music playback can all affect said performance. A: While I agree with your sentiment about the green extreme 2, unfortunately it sounds like the two devices will not be compatible as per their FAQ's: "PartyBoost support on the JBL Connect and JBL Connect+ The new PartyBoost does not support the previous Connect and Connect+ features. For example: You will not be able to successfully connect the new PartyBoost enabled Flip 5 with a Connect+ enabled speaker like the Pulse 3 or Flip 4. You will not be able to connect the Boombox 2 to the original Boombox speaker. I find this disappointing along with yourself. Thought you should know this before you buy one and get frustrated.
