Q: My 2020 Toyota RAV4 has 4ohm dash speakers. GX302 are 2.3ohm. Is this a problem? Will they be too loud compared to the rest of the stock speakers? Should I buy Club3020 or Club322 which are 3.0ohm?

Q: I have a 4th generation prius and the stock speakers are 4ohm. Can I replace the speakers with the GX302 which are rated 2ohm? The built-in amplifier of the headunit will not overheat? Thank you

    • A: Thank for your question. Our JBL GX 302 can be used and are compatible with stock headunits/amplifiers. The speaker being rated at 2 ohms would make the volume louder compared when using 4 ohm speakers. If you need more help, please contact us so we can assist you: https://bit.ly/2L7tY46

Q: Why does your advertising suggest that this coax has an edge driven soft dome tweeter when it is clearly a PEI balanced dome? I purchased this product with the expectation that I'd be getting an edge driven soft dome tweeter.

Q: What is the Bottom Mount Depth Of this Speaker? Looking to Mount in Dash Center 2018 F250.

    • A: The mounting dimensions of the JBL GX302 can actually be found on the third picture on the top of the page. It shows that the mounting depth is 1-7/16" when top mounted. It's also 2" from the very top to the very bottom of the speaker. If mounted from the bottom, the frame plate looks to add no more than 1/16" to the entire depth. So the bottom mounting depth would be 1-1/2", give or take 1/16", as long as that extra 1/2" is available in the middle for the tweeter to protrude. If not, you'd have to shim the mount and it will then have a total of 2" of depth.
