Product Details

The J-B Weld Exhaust Weld Total Exhaust Repair Wrap offers a high-strength system for repairing the entire exhaust system. This 2-inch by 72-inch wrap is impregnated with a special resin formulated to withstand exhaust temperatures up to 1100°F (593°C). It cures with or without heat to seal and insulate exhaust parts. The convenient kit includes the fiberglass wrap, gloves for application, and aluminum tape to secure it. This exhaust tape is the total solution for sealing cracks and holes in exhaust pipes, mufflers, catalytic converters, and more. Its heat-resistant resin provides a durable and long-lasting fix.

JB weld usually makes great products but this one is a miss. I'd imagine it only works in the most ideal of circumstances. It was very messy and difficult to put on and it didn't cure properly and still smells. And what's with the bit of aluminum tape that immediately fell off. Just a miss on this one. What a waste of my money.
