Jackery Explorer 1000 Portable Power Station

Tennessee had extreme wind storms that knocked out power to over 60,000 people. Personally our power was out just over 60 hours. This specific 1500 setup kept 2 full sized freezers frozen (cycled 4 hours on every 20 hours) and powered a TV, an internet hub (WiFi calling for cell service) and a lamp. Adding in a couple small solar lanterns, and a small Jackery explorer 300 I was almost fully operational in this efficiency apartment. We had entertainment, and no food spoilage, and could bring the generators inside. I will be adding to my collection as soon as my budget allows. Thank you so much for what you provide. I live in SW Florida.... yep, right where Hurricane Ian just hit. We were having such a quiet hurricane season this year that I almost put off getting the solar generator. Luckily I listened to my inner voice that said 'get it. now'. I ordered the 1500, and a month later we were hit with Ian. We have a gas generator, but it wouldn't crank up. This solar generator made life so much more bearable. I could make my coffee, plug in my hot plate to cook dinner, turn on a lamp and fans, charge our cell phones. I was super impressed at how long the generator power lasted and how easy it was to charge up again in my yard. Best part .... it's quiet. The sound of neighbors noisy generators made us really appreciate the silence of this generator, plus no need to drive around looking for gas when it's scarce during hurricanes. It's hard to describe how much we absolutely love this generator, and we're telling everyone about it...! If you live in a Hurricane zone, this is essential.

After hurricanes, there is one thing we’re guaranteed to have here in Florida, and that’s SUNSHINE!!! We live in Central Florida and we just survived hurricane Ian (September 2022) and 5 days without electricity thanks to the Jackery 1500! If I could give this product 10 stars I would. The Jackery 1500 is hidden behind the solar panels. We were in survival mode. Due to the long time outside in the sun I hid the Jackery 1500 behind the solar panels to keep it cool. At the time I wasn’t thinking of taking a picture to post a review. I wanted to show my husband that I set it up without help. We bought the Jackery 1500 and 4 Solar Saga panels over a year ago (July 2021). We never took them out of the boxes for over a year. Hurricane Ian 2022 strolled in. The night before the storm hit we charged the Jackery 1500 with hopes that we wouldn’t need it. We were so wrong! The storm eventually passed, trees down EVERYWHERE, peoples homes damaged, roads flooded, but our family and home were safe but without electricity in the dark! Jackery took us through this ordeal in quiet comfort. No toxic fumes or deafening noise like traditional gas generators. The next day my husband had to return to work. With no electricity it was time to test the solar panels. My husband was worried that the process of setting up the solar panels and connecting them to the Jackery would be too technical. He was wrong!!! It was so simple and quick. My father in law saw our easy set up and was quite impressed. He’s considering getting a Jackery 1500 and I’m looking at the new Jackery 2000 pro for Florida’s next hurricane. It’s so comforting to know we can supply our electricity needs during natural disasters. Thank you Jackery for a great and reliable product!

Sadly the one I bought wouldn't stay charged very long.

I researched solar generators for days and each time I came back to the Jackery 1500. I purchased my 1500 with the two solar panels and I am very impressed, strong, sturdy, quiet, and at 36 lbs, easy to use. Our power went out twice for hours and the 1500 performed like a champ using a small portion of the battery power! I did a full run test on my Travel trailer and turned on every thing but the Air conditioner. My micro was easily the biggest draw pulling it down after a 5 minute run from 96% to 89%, with running two tv's and every thing else including all outside and inside lights, the frig. A total of 25 more minutes minus the micro I was down in the lower 80% charge. If one stays somewhat conservative imo a couple of days easily! I give over all quality 5 of 5 stars. Jackery is one of the best if not the best and priced pretty descent. I would like to see the carry case a bit less money though, but I just built my own with vents. I love it and hope to use up all 500 charges over years to come. Thanks Jackery for a great product.
