Je suis un fier propriétaire d'une roomba 770 et je peux vous dire que ces dans le top 5 des meilleurs achat que j'ai fais dans ma vie! J'ai un chien a poils long et un chat a poils long, je n'ai pas toujours envie de passer l'aspirateur donc ROOMBA vient a mon aide. Je l'ai programmé pour quelle passe 2 fois semaine quand je suis absent de la maison et comme ça a mon retour a domicile le planché est toujours propre! Le seul entretien que j'ai a faire est de nettoyer les brosses sous la roomba qui coince des poils et de vider sont bac remplis de débits!

i had this for about a month, we had a dog, collie sheppard and if u dont use the roomba everyday then you still see dog fur around, it is kind of loud, we have a riased floor from tile up to hard wood floors and it some times gets stuck its only about less then a inch lift. wish they offered a free trial as i wouldnt of kept it after the trial offer was up, it does so good in a room, after you pick up all the wires and everthing else on the floor, but on our upstairs we have 2 bed roooms kitchen living room and bathroom and hall way, when you let it run for the hour it sometimes wont even find a bedroom it just gets lost in the kitchen then gos out to the hall way does the porch back into the kitcehn door and spends more time in there, i learned to put it in a room and shut the door for 20 min which some time is easier.. over all it does what its suppsoed to do but was hoping for alot more for the money$$$$

There are a lot of ways to get your Roomba 770 where it needs to go! If you have a Roomba 770, then you could utilize the Dual Mode Virtual Wall Barriers to navigate the Roomba into places you want it to be and keep it out of places you prefer it stays out of! These are easily purchasable on the iRobot.com website and are sure to change you experience into one that is worth it!

If you try to look at the robot working thru the floors, you might get annoyed how it goes over the same area over and over again but often that's because it was trying to go around the furniture. Just schedule it to work when you're not home and come back to look at the dust bin at the end of the day and you'll be impressed. It's relatively quiet if you compare it with the ordinary vacuum cleaners. My only concern is that it often goes into the bathroom and closes the door itself and got stuck in there and drained its battery, even when I have something there trying to keep the door open, I'd say you'll have to put something heavier there to stop the robot from pushing it out of the way.

Q: Does it detect where the dirt is and go there to clean it, or does it just go around randomly?

  • A: I think it is pretty random. It tends to overclean i.e. comes back to the same area by chance and sometimes just misses an area altogether - it usually catches them the next day.

  • A: moi j'ai robot vac et j'ai remarquer que le petit balet tournant use vitte si vous abuser sur les tapis sur les plancher de bois ce use pas normal il a de la friction sur un tapis , il pas abuser du mode spot ou elle troune en rond sur un petit tapis , ca use le balet tournant sur le coté certain model a une mode aret de ce petit baller autres non moi j'ai model I TOUCHLESS mes ce son de bonne petite aspirateur mes faut pas abuser sur les tapis ses meme biens specifier de pas ma mettre sur un tapis ou les poiles depase 1 pouce de 1 vous faite forcer votre robot et abrever la vie de votre robot ou comme des gents j'ai vue de s'amuser a faire promener son chat dessus !!! ses pas un auto ca !! vous pouvez brullé le moteur a la faire forcer pour rien .

  • A: I have a shag area rug, and it usually gets on and off of it without hanging up. I would avoid this product if your entire floor is shag. You can tell that it takes a significant amount of effort for it to work on the shag, it doesn't like it.

Q: How well does the irobot clean carpet? We have a dog and two cats and our entire main floor is carpet.

  • A: We have the Roomba 770 and it works quite well to pick up the hair from the carpet from our 2 cats (one long haired). It does require the brushes to be cleaned about once a week though but that is a quick 2 minute job. I also have to empty the canister daily or every other day but that is a 10 second job; well worth it I think.

  • A: Yes it will. As per the product use instructions and limited warranty information on the Roomba website, it clearly states not to use Roomba on wet surfaces or where contact with or immersion in water is a possibility.
