    1 - 10 of 11 Questions

Q: What is the difference between SKU 063-2600-0 and SKU 063-2602-6? Straight ends vs. bell and spigot? Why are the end treatments not identified in the specifications?

    2 Answers
    • A: One is straight both ends. The other is swaged at one end. Don’t go by their specs tab. They are identical according to the specs. Someone just cut and paste the specs.

Q: Is this pipe suitable for burying underground?

    2 Answers
    • A: The most durable material for burying underground is ABS pipe however it is not very UV stable and so any daylight projection has a heightened risk of decay. PVC on the other hand is more UV stable and is considerably cheaper than ABS. As a result, generally you see PVC being used for drainage. So PVC is suitable, but not the best.

Q: Can the pipes be connected without a coupling/connector?

    2 Answers
    • A: For a proper connection that won't leak you will need a coupler and PVC cement. Without the coupling any bond you get between the two is going to be minimal and likely to come apart.
