Great tool to have!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Innova 3011 OBD2 code reader and honestly, I like it a lot. It’s super easy to use and just works without any hassle. I don’t have any codes showing right now, but it definitely gives me peace of mind knowing I’ve got it when something comes up. It’s one of those tools you don’t think about until you need it, then you’re really glad you have it. It's super compact and fits in the glovebox. Love that it doesn't use batteries and uses the car to power up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to help diagnose issues on my car without having to run the a mechanic right away. It’s been a great tool. It’s very easy to use. Just plug it in, turn on your car and it’s starts reading codes in seconds. Everything is straight forward and you don’t have to be a car expert to figure it out. The great thing about it is the app you can download. It explains what the codes mean, possible causes and repair suggestions.

A compact and easy to use OBD2 reader

The set up a straightforward. You just have to plug it into the OBD2 port and it powers from the vehicle so there’s no charging to worry about. The display is clear and easy to read, which makes information feel accessible, even if you’re not a professional mechanic. Connectivity is dependable and it does a good job quickly reading and clearing codes, which is exactly what I want from a basic scanner. I also appreciate that it supports free updates through the software.

  • A: Haven’t used it that often, knock on wood.  It has alerted on P0301 and P0302 cylinder misfires in my Subaru.  I had head gasket replacement and get the occasional error on startup.

While the 3011 can read and clear standard engine (“check-engine”) codes on most 1996-newer OBD2 vehicles, its manual and official product info explicitly state it does not support ABS or SRS systems Please contact your nearest PartSource store for more information.
