Pre-lit Christmas tree bulbs blown

This works great at finding that one bad bulb on a string of lights that are not lighting up. Once found you replace bad bulb and your tree lights are all back on. Takes a bit of learning curve but once you understand what to do it’s a quick fix.

Multiple ways to fix

After fixing most of the bulbs on my tree, I still couldn’t get it to light. So I bought this for the trigger option but ended up finding the other features more helpful. The trigger option worked once for me, then I used the scanner to help find the area I needed to focus on. Then I used the bulb checker to actually find the dead bulb. Worked amazing. I’m happy there’s multiple ways to check.

Doesn’t work

I followed all the videos on the website. Did what they said for 4 hours on my 7.5’ 1000 light prelit tree. Found some burns bulbs, didn’t light the tree. So I pumped 20 times, like they tell you on their site, and not one single bulb lit after all that.
It’s a waste of money.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: LED Xmas lights- Does this product fix the small LED Christmas tree lights? The package appears to have the small slim light similar to what's on my tree.

A: This product helps to fix burnt out bulbs in incandescent light strands. We also carry the LED light Keeper (1513440) which helps to fix 2 pc construction LED lights. Please note that not all LED lights are 2 piece construction and cannot be fix with this tool. Please contact your local Canadian Tire store for more details.

Q: Will the LED Light Keeper 1513111 work to help fix outdoor C6 and C9 LED Light Strands? Also, how do you know if your LED lights are 2 pc construction? I bought my outdoor lights at Canadian Tire a couple of years ago.

A: The LED Keeper 1513111 will work to fix outdoor C6 and C9 LED light sets. 2 pc construction light sets will have removable/replaceable bulbs contained on the light set. Luckily, the LED Keeper can aid to fix both replaceable and non-replaceable bulbs on light sets.
