I got this chainsaw at canadian tire bancroft I took it home opened the box and the first thing the brake was not working so I took it back for a refund and canadian tire was not giving a refund they said they could send it for repairs I did not even get the plastic off or any thing else the safety brake was not working and I thought the .manufacturer would help.they told me to take it apart and try to fix the $900 dollar pice of garbage so I took it back and told by canadian tire they could send it away to get it repaired I said I had it for I hour and they would not get me a refund exchange it or send it out for repair I don't want a chain saw that the company sends out a saw with safety problems and does not check there saw for that canadian tire in bancroft lost a coustemer I have not been back to there store and will never go back there with a store policy like there s

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Long time Stihl guy swapped to husky because of this saw. Tons of power, light weight, great build quality, and superior ergonomics. It really does just feel better in your hands. This is by far my favorite saw and I've ran a lot. I'm just a firewood cutter but I know what I like. I've had more expensive saws but this is the one I keep.

Q: What's the warranty on this saw?

A: The 545 comes with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty. That warranty can be extended to 5 years by purchasing at least 96 fluid oz / 3L of Husqvarna brand pre-mixed fuel at the same time as the qualifying handheld product purchase and both purchases must be on the original product invoice/receipt. The product must also be registered online for warranty.
