Micro cracks

Bought the skinner knife about 2.5 years ago was happy with it but now I'm starting to see 8 micro cracks in the blade edge as I was sharpening it the other day.

Purchased Huntshield Small Skinner on-sale, very good value. Knife is well-made, fit and finish shows no flaws on blade or handle. All dimensions were accurately stated. Blade is AUS-8, which is a high carbon stainless. Sheath is a good-quality leather, and stitched well. The thumb rest and blade jimping provide for a firm hold, which is important since there is no real handguard.This knife is a versatile size and blade shape, no doubt good for skinning, but also useful for camping and all-around outdoors use.
