String in Hood Ripped After First Use

Hi Canadian TIre, I purchased this Huntshield rain jacket yesterday and wore it for the first time also yesterday. It held up quite well in the rain and I am pleased about that. While it started raining I put on the hood and tightened it. When I got back to the dock from Kayaking I realized that the string in the hood had ripped. I was so sad because I just picked it up earlier that day. I had to go quite far to pick up this jacket as I live close to the liberty village location and I went to Kipling and Albion to pick up this jacket which was limited in size XL.
