Great fan. Runs silently. Remote works. Lights work. It's heavy and not easy to put up but that is probably true of most well made fans. Hunter is a good brand.

Fan good, instructions bad

The fan itself is great! Super quiet, and I love the remote capability. The instructions were terrible. Make sure you read them all the way through before starting, because it back tracks a couple times. Installing the remote receiver where and when it tells you will block the slot you need open to put the motor housing into. Then it will tell you to attach the safety rope into the socket after you’ve already blocked the entire socket with the fan bracket.
