The HT Ice Fishing Power Ice Rod Holder helps keep your line in the water even when you're not holding it. Simply unfold, lock and position the Tip Down ice rod holder next to your ice hole. Set your line as if you were ready to fish and place your rod in the holder. The Tip Down will signal a bite when the tip of your rod pulls down, letting you know a fish is on the line. You can lift your rod and combo out of the holder to set the hook and fight the fish. The Hi-Tech rod holder is designed to work with jigging poles and balance rods, then folds flat for easy transport between fishing spots.

good concept poor execution

like has been said by everyone else here, it's pretty poorly made but has potential
- reels don't seem to fit very well in the slot, gets caught in it
- it falls over a lot due to the bolts coming loose, no matter how tight they are
- needs to be weighted down or use an ice anchor
- it's a nice height when set up
probably don't recommend buying it

Junk support

Bought this yesterday and tested it in my shop before using. It wouldn't even stand up because of the cheap and wrong size wingnut which is the supposed to lock it in the upright position. It will cost me more in gas to return the product than fix it. Based on it's out of the bag purchase condition it doesn't even deserve 1 star.
