Tow more than one trailer? Take advantage of your existing 4 Flat when adapting. The 47185 attaches to an existing 4 Flat to bring the lighting functions to the 7 Blade and 4 flat connectors, leaving electric brakes, auxiliary power, reverse lights and ground as the only functions that need to be wired. The Multi-Tow® design feature adds multiple towing options from one connector by providing sockets for towing both 7 Blade and 4 Flat trailers.

I have several issues with this connector. The Aux 12V (Black) and the brake (Blue) are shorter than all the other wires and it will not reach into the car in my application. In addition the wire gauge used in the connector are not listed anywhere in the instructions useful for rating fuse for each of the connector. The bracket for the connector is really flimsy and bend. Otherwise it is built well.

it's just okay

The build quality is good however I have issues with the length of the Aux 12V (black) & brake (blue) cable lengths as they were too short to run into the car. Also the gauge of all the wires were not listed anywhere in the manual (helpful for rating fuses) Another issue is the mounting bracket for the plug. It is rather flimsy and I have to support the assembly to connect the trailer
