Battery sucks

I had this for just over a year and it stopped working. I took it to a vacuum repair shop and they can’t look at it due to the battery dying and they can’t even get ahold of a battery to try and see if that’s the problem. Please choose something else. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY

Piece of garbage

Had nothing but problems with this vacuum. We have hardwood floors and you continuously get stuck on nothing. Before we even had it for a year the battery would die so fast and then on the one year mark it stopped holding a charge completely. Talked to a vacuum repair place and all we could do is throw it out. Not worth the money

No power after several use

It works fine at the beginning but after a few days of using it, it just died. No power and not charging. After trying to figure out and follow all the FAQ to fix, still not charging. This is my second time to return Quest 700. I thought the first one was just a time defect but it looks like 2 in a row now. Do NOT buy this!!!

Q: Hoover quest 700 won't recharge. Help Was away for a month leaving quest 700 plugged in. Now it won't recharge. Charger itself shows flashIng light. But machine itself appears to be dead.

  • A: Hi Susan, we apologize about the Hoover® Quest™ 700 Robot not charging like it should and that is not the Hoover quality that we strive for. We appreciate hearing from our customers and strive to provide the best products possible. Here are a few steps to reset the battery: Sorry to hear you are having issues with your Quest 700/800. The issue you are describing can be contributed to an internal component failure. We recommend trying the following reset procedure listed below: 1. Remove the unit from the charging station 2. Unplug your charging station from the wall outlet for 1 minute 3. Turn the unit off from the main power switch on the bottom of the unit for 1 minute 4. Plug your charging station back into the wall outlet 5. Switch your main power switch on and then off 5X’s 6. Turn the unit ON by switching the main switch to the ON position on the bottom of your unit. 7. Place the unit back onto your charging station (make sure the unit prongs are properly lined up 8. You will know the unit is charging when you see a Blue LED light pulsate on the top of the unit 9. Once the unit is fully charged the Blue LED light will turn off. -Doug, Hoover Customer Care
