Hoover® Multi Floor Canister Vacuum

Nice feature it light weight and easy to clean. It does not clean carpets with full success nor does it go from carpet to hardwood to get all particles. Unfortunately the multi floor nozzle will stop working if hair gets caught

We had a bissell which was too heavy so we exchanged for a Hoover. We should have checked the REVIEWS before purchase. Brush got stuck with hair dust etc, cleaned it,got stuck again.we do not even have pets. Dust is still on the floor even after using at max level. So disappointed, and now we cannot even exchange it as is over 1 year. The issues started only after a few months after purchasing it and we used once a month or so, as had another one handy.

We've had this vacuum for a few years now and actually really love it... now! I put that thing to work a lot, and have used it for move-out cleaning. Eventually, the same thing happened to me that happened to everyone else. And I finally figured out why: they don't make it super forthcoming that there is a washable filter in the top of that canister that needs to be cleaned regularly!! I noticed the sucking power was.... sucking, so I did all the things everyone did and to my frustration the red light was still on and I could not get this vacuuming working properly again. I cleaned every bit of this vacuum, finally, I just assumed there was something stuck in the hose I would never be able to get out so I was going to use it till it goes up in flames and then buy something else. Then, one day I randomly found the circular mesh filter in the top of the canister by fluke. I cleaned it and now it works great again. Apparently you can wash it by running water through it, letting it dry for a few days, and then plunking in back in. I just combed the fuzz off and the red light hasn't been on since. You must locate this mysterious creature in the top of the canister, it will save you from throwing out a perfectly fine vacuum with a poorly written manual you can't actually find on the internet! It is the size of a dessert plate with white mesh material, located under the handle area of the canister.

I bought March 2020, the power head broke within a few months, power head stopped spinning. Constantly trying to troubleshoot sucking power. I went to the website to look about the warranty, and they discontinued the product. I am shopping again for a vacuum, and you know what product I am not going to buy?

I bought this a few months ago(maybe up to 6 months ago) and with two huskies and a child in the home it’s been picking up everything great! I am very happy with the product. However, the bendy hose that attaches to the unit has come unglued with regular usage... nothing rough or any mishandling has happened to it. I keep trying to push it back into place and it keeps falling out. I’m thinking about super gluing it into place but it does have a 3 year repair warranty that I may use instead. Overall, I am happy with the performance for the price , I did buy this specially for a few rooms that our built in vacuum doesn’t reach.
