Extremely disappointed

I purchased this vacuum just over a year ago. I liked its slim design and manoeuvre ability, however I was not empressed with the suction. Over the months of use this vacuum I purchased this vacuum just over a year ago. I liked its slim design and manoeuvre ability, however I was not impressed with the suction. Over the months of use this vacuum declined quickly. It became more and more difficult to click into the upright position, until eventually it would not click in at all. The power and brush function declined as well, to the point where I have to unplug the vacuum to turn it off.
I contacted Hoover to replace my vacuum. They said this particular vacuum is not manufactured anymore, and because I did not have my purchase receipt they were unable to replace it. They would not accept a credit card statement. I am not looking for a cash refund, simply just a vacuum that works! I have dealt with many warranties over the years, and by far this was the worst customer service. I am incredibly disappointed, and will not trust Hoover as a household name or recommend to anyone.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A helpful hint: It could be time to rinse out your filter. Remember to only rinse it with water and let it dry for 24 hours. If that does not help, we ask you to make sure the air path is not clogged. If it is, remove the nozzle and then remove the clog. This should increase your suction! Not a durable product

The vacuum worked great in the first year but the brush on the vacuum makes a horrendous noise now when it spins. Hand tool is still functional so maybe it becomes a car vacuum but otherwise we are replacing it.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Pas terrible.

Lourd, dégage beaucoup de chaleur, n'aspire pas très bien sur le tapis, il faut passer plusieurs fois pour ramasser des miettes. Difficile d'aller dans les coins ou les seuils de porte. Cordon trop court pour un appartement de 1200 pi2. Il faut débrancher et rebrancher 3 au moins 3 fois. Point positif : pas de sac à poussière, le récipient se vide très facilement.

Très puissant.

J’ai acheté cette aspirateur il y a plus d’un ans et nous somme très satisfait. Un moteur électrique fait tourner les ballets donc il tourne à pleine puissance même si des cheveux sont pris. Notre aspirateur précédant avais une brosse qui tournais avec la suction, c’était l’enfer. Celui-ci est versatile et puissant.

Q: can the "beater bar" brushes be shut off for use on hard floors to prevent them from flinging dirt around?

A: Hi ben337! We'd be more than happy to help out with this question. The Air Sprint Bagless Upright was designed with a brushroll on/off option that allows for use on carpets and bare floors. It can be turned off when moving to hard surfaces and activated when transitioning to carpet. Check it out on our website or at your local Canadian Tire.
