Temperature sensor malfunction

I purchased this item few years ago an it started to malfunction since the last winter. Looks like that the temperature sensor is not working properly as temperature is showing less than what is currently inside the house. Checked few thermometer and noted that the temp inside the house was almost 80 whereas the temperature on the Honeywell was 71. Since the temperature setting was 72 furnace was running continuously until the unit is manually turned off.
No, I do not recommend this product.

i bought this thermostat from canadian tire . it has awesome features..installed by professional for me and it works great. Now. we can control our house temperature from anywhere from our cell phone.

Poor quality

Thermostat worked well for 3 months then the problems began.
Wifi connection is finicky one day it will accept password then out of nowhere it won’t.
The bigger problem is the stat will now reach temperature and then turn off the heat yet says heat is still on.
The unit is unreliable and beyond frustrating.
I would never buy another one.
No, I do not recommend this product.
